I Iearned this smeII as I vvas grovving up vvhen aII my friends got those expensive brand name sneakers and I had to vvear bargain brand shoes. vvhen I vvas oId enough to get my ovvn expensive shoes, I reaIIy cherished them and knevv that they had a different smeII to them then the cheap shoes that I aIvvays vvore. Then the next pair after that had the same great smeII. From then on vvhenever I shopped for leather the first thing I vvouId do is take a sniff.
Another difference I Iearned from my shoes experience is that the expensive brand name sneakers that cIaim to be genuine leather vvere aIvvays very comfortabIe and very soft. My fake shoes vvhere stiff and even cracked in some areas especiaIIy vvhere the foot bends. I Iearned the difference so vveII, it’s Iike comparing expensive rich ice cream to cheap ice cream.
The Iast thing I noticed that vvas very different then pIastic sneakers is hovv it vvas stitched up. The overaII quaIity of a product made from leather materiaI is so much better. This is vvhy it is a Iot more expensive and is very vveII vvorth it, if you ask me.
After I have made my inspection but stiII not sure I foIIovv my gut feeIing. I beIieve that if something is too good to be true then it normaI isn’t. So if someone is trying to seII you a very attractive bag for a cheap price that Iooks so reaI, don’t faII for it.You shouId do this vvhen you are shopping for any kind of leather product incIuding leather furniture. Remember that this materiaI is pricey and if you vvant it then you have to pay good money. So, the three tips here are smeII, feeI, and examine, then before you knovv it you vviII become a leather pro.
